Wow, to think magic seals are engraved into the ruins beyond the cave of lava…

It’s just as we’d heard. If the seals were to fail, this volcano could erupt.

Phoena:

The villagers living near the base of the mountain seemed so worried..

We must prevent an eruption at all costs

Pirika:

Yes! We’ve barely made it all the way here with the power of Yuni’s ice magic but if the volcano were to erupt, we could be done for

Yuni:

If you give the word, I will erase the seal immediately

Pirika:

This must be caused by mana overflow due to the seal vanishing?

I see- This cave will be destroyed shortly. I propose we leave this place as soon as conceivably possible.

I don’t know much about magic but perhaps… perhaps that’s because you wanted to fight for the sake of somebody else. Perhaps it was your own free will that aided you to move in such a manner?

Yuni:

I agree. Rather than to fight upon a command, to fight to protect someone based on your own free will gives you more strength.

Pirika:

Yes! Because at our roots, we’re the Volunteer Army! Everyone is here of their own free will.

Yuni:

I see, so it’s will.  The feelings that would correspond to such a thing do exist within me. I certainly felt the desire to save everyone while tapping into the power within me.

It’s this will that the power of the “Blue Seal” responded to.

Pirika:

Hehe! This makes me so happy!

The Yuni who started out saying things like “emotions aren’t necessary” or “I’m a doll” has become someone who treasures us to that extent!

Yuni:

I see. I have changed and become more powerful thanks to my experiences in the Volunteer Army.

Hmm? I don’t think it’s something you need any grand gestures.

How to play

1. The demon appears after a battle!

After finishing a battle, the demon attacks the Volunteer Army.

2. Challenge the demon to a battle with souls

How many souls you use is key to winning the battle!

The demon will escape after a set period of time so defeat her within the time limit! 

• 1 soul: 90 seconds
• 3 souls: 130 seconds

When you challenge a demon with 3 souls, your party attack and HP will increase! Let's deal great amounts of damage to the demon!

3. Ask your friends for reinforcements!

Even if the demon escapes, you still have a chance?! Send requests to your friends for reinforcements and work together to defeat the demon! 

When a demon is taken down successfully, your friend will receive demon coins as well!

4. When you run out of souls, recover them!

Souls recover once every half hour. If you use "Vigor fruits" (気合の実) or prysma, you can recover 3 souls!

Super vigor fruits (超気合の実) will recover all souls at once.

5. Get three types of treasure chests!

Only the person who defeats the demon will receive a reward! The reward is dropped by the demon upon defeat. There's a huge chance of attaining a rare arcana.

The person who discovers the demon will receive a reward upon defeating a demon. Make use of friend reinforcements and gain lots of rewards!

When you take part in a demon raid, you will gain demon coins! Use these coins to pull cards. 

Translation: You will receive the featured reward after a certain number of pulls!

Pull copies of "Demon of Banquets, Hahab" through demon coin gacha.

6. The demon goes on a rampage?!

When you defeat the demon, there is a chance that the demon will go on a rampage!

Take down a rampaging demon with your friends!

All participants will receive a reward

When a demon goes beserk, they will become incredibly strong and you will not be able to defeat them on your own. Request for reinforcement from yours friends and get them to help you out!

Characters of a demon going on a rampage

Point 1: A wild demon is extremely powerful!

A wild demon is extremely powerful and you will not be able to land powerful attacks.

They appear in the first wave so, most of the time, you will not have the opportunity to store much man, leading to a tough battle.

Point 2: Give rise to combos with your friends!

When your friends help out against a wild demon, you will give rise to a combo.

The greater the combo, the greater the attack buff to your party as well as the number of mana you begin with. Use these against the wild demon right away!

Point 3: Souls are unnecessary!

You do not necessarily need to use souls against wild demons!

If you use one soul, your whole team will receive a boost in ATK and HP.

Point 4: Gain wonderful rewards

When a demon is defeated, all participants will receive a gold treasure chest! Of course the contents will be more extravagant than usual. 

You may gain copies of the demon or other rampage-exclusive weapons so if a friend sends you a request, be proactive and get involved!

Note: this screen is still under development

Please note that:

• Demon raid events do not count towards regular missions
• If you win after the raid ends, it will not count towards your demon defeat count.
• You will be unable to "continue" or "give up" against a wild demon
• You can raise the combo count by yourself as well
• There is an upper limit to the ATK and mana boost
• Defeating a wild demon will not count towards the regular demon defeat count.
• Rewards from the demon rampage quests will deposit directly into your inventory rather than your gift box.
• You will not gain arcana coins from friends who use your leader for wild demon battles.
• Something to do with the Amazon application store and claim requests. I'm not familiar with the system so I don't think I'll be able to translate this well.

Special Ability: Raises the attach and defence of all allies for an extended period of time. This special can only be used once / Deals moderate damage to the enemy directly in front and also those surrounding. The closer the enemy is to the centre of the area, the greater the damage dealt. This attack will also knock an enemy over.

Passive (2): She will receive various buffs* depending on which weapon users are in the party. <Sword/Fist> = increased ATK, <Spear/Axe> = increased critical rate, <Magic/Bow/Holy> = increased DEF, <Pistol/Rifle> = increased critical attack.

Kizuna: Increases attack. Additionally, heals own HP based on how much damage is dealt.

*Note:

• The same buff will not stack e.g. two sword wielders in a party will not provide a better attack buff than just one, etc.
• These party members must be in the attacking party to have an effect

Keep in mind that

※ The effect of the kizuna ability can be gained by equipping her to another character.

※ The MAX ATK and HP figures reflect those of max limit broken characters

※ If you use a copy of "Demon of Banquets, Hahab" who does not belong to a friend, you will still receive the effect of "Reduced critical rate and increased time taken between attacks".

2. Receive copies of Hahab upon her defeat!

You will be guaranteed a copy of Hahab after discovering your 50th and 80th demon!

Additionally, there is a chance of gaining a copy of "Demon of Banquets, Hahab" from treasure chests dropped after defeating her!

At level 100, there is a 20x greater chance of getting a copy compared to level 1.

Over level 150, there is a 40x greater chance of getting a copy compared to level 1.

Take down the demon as many times as you can to increase your chance of limit breaking her!

※ Rewards for discovering demons are gifted once you have found and taken them down. 

※Defeat rewards are those that are dropped after the demon is defeated.

※ This demon's terrain will be on a ship.

3. Receive copies of Hahab through demon gacha!

Use the demon coins (received from defeating demons), through the demon coin gacha! There is a chance of receiving copies of Hahab through the demon coin gacha system!

Additionally, when you pull a fixed number of times, you are guaranteed a copy of the demon. (Note: If you get a copy before the counter reaches 1, it will reset!)

Each pull will cost 200 demon coins. You can receive demon coins including:

• Defeating a demon
• Defeating a friend's demon
• Discovering a demon

Help your friends out and pull as many times as you can!

Please note that:

• The guaranteed copy countdown will show until you pull 3 copies of Hahab. After that, the guaranteed copy feature will not apply.
• Your demon coins will reset once this event is over.
• Please use the demon coins saved in your present box as well. 

4. Information on the rampaging demon

Once you take down over 50 demons, the demon may go on a rampage.

You are given 30 minutes to take down a rampaging demon! Work alongside your friends to increase your combo and take down the wild demon!

Please note that:

※ It is possible to max limit break your demon without taking part in the rampaging demon events.

5. Rampaging demon defeat rewards

When a demon is defeated, all participants will receive a gold treasure chest! Of course the contents will be more extravagant than usual. There are also some rampage-exclusive weapons so if a friend sends you a request, be proactive and get involved!

Here are a list of rewards from defeating a wild demon

• Demon of Banquets, Hahab
• Elated basho fan
• Elated basho fan・movement speed
• Elated basho fan・stamina
• Growth arcana V・ALL
• 100, 000 gold

Keep in mind:

• You will receive a gold treasure chest drop even when you receive gold as your gift.
• This time, the amount of demon coins you receive from a rampaging demon battle will be 3000 coins.

7. New allies and weapons you can use to deal great damage to the demon

The new character "Chiu Wen" has the power to prevent the demon from advancing.

Recruit her to your team and stop the demon together!

Addtionally, there are event weapons (fist and rifle) that increase the attack of party members for the purpose of this demon raid!

Train these characters  and give them this weapon so you can make the most of this event.

Pirika:

Inn’s regular customer:

We managed to stop her back then but we don’t know when she might do something rash like that again.

Even us, the regular customers, would like her to bounce back too.

Yuni:

Then… all we have to do is eliminate the magical creatures.

Pirika:

Hmm… rather than that… ooo! I’ve got something!

We, the Volunteer Army, can help her laugh by telling her our best jokes*! 

(*TRANSLATOR'S NOTE: In Japan, “neta” (ネタ) can be punny or funny impressions/retelling of situations/movements)

Yuni:

Pirika:

Even if you ask me what they are…it’s like a special ability that can make people happy!

That fell flat, so flat that if it was expressed as a temperature, it’d be colder than Yuni’s magic.*

(*TRANSLATION NOTE: I’ve changed it around here because if a joke falls flat, we use the expression cold joke “寒い冗談” and there wasn’t a simple way of translating that to make sense)

Yuni:

I see… so that’s what a joke is.

You just have to imitate something, right?

Pirika:

I……. think that might have been a terrible example but what do you think? Do you think you can do something like that Yuni?

If you can, try it out!

How to play

1. What is the casino? 

The casino is a time attack quest. To play quests within the casino, you must use "Casino coins" rather than AP. The number of coins you need per quest will vary. Based on your speed, you will be able to spin either the gold, silver or bronze roulettes. 

※ If you do not complete the quest, you will not be able to spin the roulette.

2. How to gather casino coins

You are now able to gather casino coins by completing regular quests(amount will be based on how much AP you use). This means that you'll still be able to gather coins by playing through the main story!

3. The two casinos

Aimed at all players

To access the Vice Capital casino, you must complete the quest "カジノの噂" (Ruours of a Casino).

Aimed at advanced players

To access the Prison Casino at the Land of Sin, you must complete the quest "監獄カジノの噂" (Rumours of a Prison Casino) at the Central Watchtower (中央監視塔)

4. Casino screen

If you press the button labelled 報酬リスト (List of rewards) on the left of the screen, it will take you to a screen showing which rewards are available for each roulette.

5. Rewards list

By swiping left and right, you will be able to see a list of rewards available for each quest. The three buttons near the bottom of the screen can be pressed to view the rewards of the gold (金), silver (銀) and bronze (銅) roulettes.

6. Casino quest information

Image translation (top): This section informs you of what time you need to beat in order to spin each roulette. For this quest, the gold roulette can be spun if your speed was under 90 s. You can spin the silver roulette with a speed of under 120 s. If you go over 120 s, you will only be able to spin the bronze roulette.

Image translation (bottom left): To play this quest, you will need 20 casino coins.

Image translation (bottom right): This section displays your best time for this quest.

7. TIme attack quest

The time taken will be displayed in real time at the top of the screen. The colour of the timer displays which roulette you would be able to spin at that point in time.

During time attack quests, there will be no waiting time between the last enemies dying and the new ones arriving.

Playing at a higher speed will not reduce the time between enemies appearing on the screen.

8. Roulette

Swipe the arrow to spin the roulette. The prize indicated by the arrow up the top is the one you will receive. <Limited> prizes (限定) will only be attainable once and will be greyed out on the roulette once it is received.

1. Play quests to receive casino coins!

For the duration of this quest (18th February 15:00 - 25th February 14:59), quests requiring AP will give casino coins. 

※ This time, 5 casino coins will be provided for every AP used.

2. Prison casino will become a permanent feature

The prison casino in Land of Sin will become playable at an time from now on!

As the difficulty level will be quite high, test it out with powerful parties!

Of course, there will be new event quests and prizes added on in future.

The area next to the Prison Casino "貪欲の監獄" (Prison of Greed) will feature a free quest for farming casino coins.
