新キャラについて - About the new characters

I just found out I passed a year of dental school and I'm in a fantastic mood so here are the new character backstory translations I promised.

Phoena's older sister, Rivera (card not confirmed)

It seems like she's on a journey for some reason or another which has lead her to the Chronicle custodian of each continent.

Protector of the sacred treasures, Galaxius (card not confirmed)

Galaxius is the daughter of a clan that collects and monitors sacred treasures from across this world. While on a mission to seal the powers of the sacred treasures, she meets Rivera and learns of her quest to suppress the "origin of darkness". Swayed by her powerful determination, Galaxius entrusts Rivera with the sacred treasure "Toki no yasuri/the file of time" and decides to join her.

White Winged Seraph, Seraphy

Soldier, SSR

Voice: 「君たちの活躍は、空の上から見ていたよ！」

I've been watching you all from the skies above!

Seraphy is a hero from the Winged Clan that lives in the sky. The Winged Clan follows a class-based system of which she is of the uppermost rank (Seraph). As Seraph, her role was to monitor the world below without interacting with its civilians, however due to the persistence of the black army, she has broken this rule in order to defend the world.

100 million years of servitude, Klein

Soldier, SSR

Voice: 「千年前の罪なんて、もう忘れてしまった……今はただ、怒りだけだ。」

I've long forgotten my sins of a thousand years ago. All I recall is anger.

1000 years ago, at a certain continent, Klein committed a serious crime and was sentenced to the death penalty. However, no matter what method was used, he did not seem to die and, instead, his sentence was modified to 100 million years of servitude in the Continent of Sin.

1000 years later, he escaped from prison, only to find that the black army had destroyed his hometown. Following this incident, the man began a long journey to avenge his hometown and wound up in the Chronicle Continent.

The deep sea emperor's child, Oddesea

Mage, SSR

Voice: 「私は深き海より来たりし姫皇子。これからはあなた達と共に参ります」

I come from the deep sea as the daughter of the deep sea emperor. From here on, I will join you on your journey.

(Note: I have changed the meaning slightly to do justice to what she's saying.. Otherwise it would have been a bit clunky :/ )

Oddesea is the child of an emperor from a city located deep under the sea. After fending off the black army that appeared in her town, she discovered that these monsters came from the lands above. She embarked on a long journey which brought her to the Chronicle Continent. Generally, people of her city are unable to survive on land, however, Odessea's great magical powers allow her to manipulate water such that she is able to function on land.

Empress of the rainbow scales, Mettia

Mage, SSR

Voice: 「世界を染める黒の気配。わらわがひと呑みにしてくれよう」

I will devour the dark presence that stains this world.

Mettia is the queen of the Naga clan from the Naga Continent. She has a prideful and arrogant personality and believes those of her clan are the chosen people while other races are inferior. Due to her continent facing imminent destruction by the black army, she has taken up the responsibility, as queen, to defend her kingdom with her powerful magic. This journey has lead her to the Chronicle Continent.
